• Please cancel our support of the tourism activities in McGregor.

Goals that the Chamber has accomplished could not have been possible on an individual basis. The McGregor Area Chamber of Commerce does together what no one business could do alone. We will miss the member who cancels, but he will miss much more than he realizes.

• Networking opportunities: “A supportive system of sharing information and services among individuals and groups having a common interest.” By working together we can play a leading role in improving the local economy. Contact information is available via the website or contacting the chamber office for member listings. Coming together to reach a common goal: Tourism and Industry for our community.

• Referral Services: The Chamber makes every attempt to refer ONLY Chamber members to the thousands of requests received each year. Don't be left out! The office staff works for you, By providing your brochures, business cards or advertising materials to the Tourist Center or office, we’re able to supply your information with more ease.

• Business Contacts: We offer opportunities each year for members to network and make business contacts. The Golf Tournament and Membership Meeting are just a couple of examples. The Chamber aims to regularly offer seminars of timely interest. If a topic strikes you and you’d like to learn more about it, please let us know.

• Web Site Opportunities: The internet is usually the first place scoured when information about a community, its businesses, recreation and other facilities is desired. Members with their own Web site can take advantage of this attribute by receiving a free link from our Web site to yours through our free Chamber Directory, giving you global exposure. Options to add your own page to our site are available. Add your business’ events to our calendar at no charge. The Chamber also has a presence on Facebook, reaching a broader community through social networking. Members are listed on that site with contact information in addition to the Official website.

• Economic and Industrial Development: The Chamber aims to expand development in the McGregor area. We encourage you to use us to post employment opportunities within your business.

• Advertising & Sponsorship Opportunities: During our annual events and miscellaneous projects we ask our members to donate door prize items, silent auction items, or sponsorships to get their name out. There are also newspaper/radio advertising opportunities throughout the year. This allows us to bring in additional activities and events we would otherwise be unable to have.

• Tourism Information Center: We are the managing office, providing our members access to Brochure Distribution, Informational Services & Referrals; we encourage all of our members to keep their promotional supplies stocked for visitors who stop and also for year-round distribution at the chamber office. Tourist Center Restock Day is usually the first week of May. Bring in your material before, during or after!

• All-Member Bulletins: AMB’s are email notifications. The Chamber provides this service, free of charge, to alert your fellow members to all the happenings, programs, projects, and activities of your busy organization. Our members can use this tool as often as they’d like. Send us an email that you’d like to be sent out to the entire membership. AMB Opt-out is available if you choose not to receive these alerts.

• McGregor Tourism Travel Map: A great resource for visitors and locals alike. Members receive a free membership listing on the map-side of the publication. Advertising opportunities are also available.

• Volunteer Opportunities: We are always in need of volunteers to assist in executing our events. Whether you’re on the planning committee or just helping out the day of the event, all volunteers are the greatest asset to our organization. Consider lending a hand.

The Chamber handles over 8,000 telephone calls a year, distributes over 22,000 pieces of promotional material on an annual basis, meets and greets over 500 people annually at the Chamber office.
