Our annual events are very important. Through these events the Chamber is successful in bringing in people from miles around to promote the community, businesses and the lakes area. This is the most volunteer-intensive area of the Chamber.

25th Annual Fishing Tournament is held on
two of our most popular fishing lakes, Big Sandy and Lake Minnewawa located north of McGregor. Contest runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Prizes up to $5,000 will be given to the winner of multiple Northern and Walleye categories. Contest held regardless of weather. Entry Sign up sheets available prior to event at local retailers, or contact the McGregor Area Chamber of Commerce.
