Experience McGregor’s natural wonders by ATV! The area features 200+ miles of ATV trails—enjoy the scenery, observe the wildlife, and visit neighboring communities.


Visit Savanna Portage State Park and hike hardwood forests, grasslands, and bogs to the Continental Divide. Here, the water to the west flows into the Mississippi River and the water to the east flows into Lake Superior.


Drive through or hike Rice Lake National Wildlife Refuge—a birder’s paradise teeming with everything from waterfowl to warblers. (You may catch a glimpse of porcupine, deer, racoons, or bears, too.)


Take in the most spectacular view around on top of the 94-foot Big Sandy Overlook Tower, located in the Savanna State Forest.
